ENVIRO POINT
(E POINT)
2011 JUNIOR FOOTBALL SEASON
The SFDFC will introduce the E Point (1 Point) system in the 2011 Junior Football season for all teams from pups to 16/17's.
Our E Point system will apply to all Players, Coaches, Volunteers, Clubs and Spectators alike. A reward point is earned by simply maintaining the required behavioural standards our codes and laws require. Both teams can earn a E Point each game day. The accumulative point will dictate ladder positions ahead of percentage.
An E Point would be earned by a team if there has been no breech of codes of conduct, no red cards, no coaching box warnings, no poor crowd behaviour, no retrospective breech established after a game. It is not a penalty, it is a reward.
The E Point will be recorded on the Umpires Match Report form, which is the responsibilty of the home team to provide. The controlling Umpire or a Excecutive Member of the SFDFDC have the authority to record breaches of game day code of conduct which might result in the award not given to a team. If a E Point is not allocated to a team on game day then it will be up for review by the competition directors and the district registrar.
The Premiership ladder on the Sportingpulse website will be available for the clubs to view on Wednesday evening after each round played, the Premiership Ladder will read, if both teams are rewarded a E Point then the winning team will receive 5 points and the losing team will receive 1 point, if a team is not rewarded a E Point, for instance, if the winning team is not awarded with a E Point then the winning team will be allocated 4 points and the losing team will be allocated 1 point, and if the losing team is not awarded a E Point then the winning team will receive 5 points and the losing team will show as 0 points on the premiership ladder.
The above Enviro Point system was agreed too by all stakeholders at our Directions Day meeting held on November 26th, 2009.
