It was a home ground advantage for the Tigers as we hosted the Freo City Dockers on an overcast chilly afternoon at Springdale.  And the added incentive to crush the opposiont was NICK celebrated his 100 games and DOUG 50 games. Well done boys and CONGRATULATIONS.

Roley kicked the 1st goal and a great piece of play between Alex and Doug brought up number 2 goal. Tigers applied great pressure and freo's chip chip style of play was coming unstuck.  Doug was playing well and kicked a great goal in his 50th game.  Ben H swapped ruck with Dean and immediately scored 6 points from a lovely high mark.  Nick spoilt a certain mark down back - some great pressure by him.  Roley up by 28 points at quarter time.

Tigers kicked the 1st goal of the second, but Freo lifted a notch and grabbed 2 goals in the front half of the quarter.  Both teams scored 2.1 for the quarter so Freo's work rate was huge - Roley needed to maintain pressure and man up, too many times Freo got loose and were able to use the wide spaces of Springdale.

At half time Tigers were only 22 points up, Doug continued to have a great game - at one point he provided the step ladder for Ben H to grab a fantastic hanger.

In the 3rd Doug and Ben H tag teamed really well int he forward area and kicked 5 goals between them.  Sean was chopping up the midfield but we needed to stik to players.

Jake B kicked the first goal for the 4th alsong with some argy bargy and we let freo kick 4 goals to our 2, but a great goal by Ben H on the run around his body helped us with a highlight for the quarter.

Tigers winning by 33 points.
