"On a cloudy, cool day Roleystone were taking on Cockburn at home this week"

The game started with Cockburn into attack early on in the quarter with two quick goals on the board.  Roleystone were unfortunately playing too loose on their men and couldnt seem to get the ball into their forward ifty .  Roleystone needed 'to apply more pressure as Luke couldn't do it all,  it had to be a team effort if they were to get the win today.  A break through and alot of hard work,  Jordan's kick to Jayden was a goal to the Roleystone effort.

The next quarter Roleystone needed to work themselves back into the game.  The play was down Roleystones end but we couldn't seem to convert early on in the quarter.  Tom, Dylan and Shane were fighting hard for the ball and Calan was having a good game as he was consistent in attack,  being instrumental in the turnover of the ball.  Great running by Dylan was a goal to Jayden  putting Roleystone into the lead. An excellent passage of play commenced with Curtis, Tom and Luke to Shane was a terrific goal that cemented the Roleystone lead..  Roleystone had finally woken up with another goal by Mitchell which  put Roleystone further into the lead by 18 points at the half time break.

A more confident, determined Roleystone 13s team this quarter with great teamwork from Jarrod C, Dylan, Mason was a goal to Shane.  JJ was working hard in the centre with Jarrod C in the forward fifty was another goal to Shane within minutes.  Roleystone needed to be in the contest and be in front of the opponents as Jordan finished off a great Roleystone team work effort for a goal. There was excellent tackling by Roleystone who were definately winning the third quarter with the ball remaining within the forward fifty for the term.  A wonderful finish for the quarter was by JJ who kicked a goal on the siren. Roleystone had extended lead by 35 points at this stage of the game.

Roleystone were out to test their fitness for this quarter.  Luke was instrumental in a turnover with a great exchange Dylan to Curtis, Liam who chipped the ball to Mitchell was a fantastic goal.  There was great team work once again as Roleystone was using the corridor well with crumbing by Jack B was another Roleystone goal for the effort.  A centre clearance and it was soon down the Roleystone end as they were drawing the ball at will, which resulted in Jake kicking a goal .  A great game by Alex in the backline  with Tele, Ryan and Calan who were instrumental in the line of denfence.  The Roleystone team should be proud for the great allround team effort today, it was a good performance by the whole team

Well done Roleystone 13s  Final score Roleystone 11 goals 7 points to Cockburn 4 goals.
