" On a bright sunny Mothers Day morning the Roleystone 13s headed down to Atwell for a much needed win against the Jandakot Jets Red team"

The first quarter opening was a fantastic start to the game for Roleystone as a quick clearance from centre resulted in a sensational goal to JJ.  There was even play throughout the ground by both teams as each attempted to maintain possession of the footie but it was Roleystone in the lead at the quarter time break by 10 points. 

This next quarter Jandakot was on the attack into their forward fifty with Alex and Tele defending hard as Jandokot equalised the scores at the half time break  

After an inspiring talk by the coaches Roleystone came out pumped up and ready for a more positive quarter with good teamwork and more goals to report.  Calan was instrumental in play, with Tom and Shane and an uplifting goal by Jack B strengthened Roleystone spirit to go hard in attack with Dylan booting through another six pointer capping off a terrific third quarter of football for Roleystone extending their lead to 31 points. 

In the last quarter Roleystone was able to hold on to the win with great teamwork as the Jandakot team were coming back into the game with their goals this term, but it was an allround team effort that stood up as Tom and Mitchell scored a goal each to cap off an excellent well deserved win.

The final score was Roleystone 8 goals 12 points to Jandakot Jets Red 5 goals 3 points.
