"On a grey, cloudy morning at Roleystone's home ground the fixture was an early start with light rain."

The first quarter was even play with a good contest from both teams as they applied intense pressure throughout the field. It was Alex, Calan, Luke and Mitchell as solid players working down the ground but unfortunately it was the Jets who had the first goal on the board at the quarter time break.

In the second quarter the Jets broke away from the Roleystone rein as they began to dominate the play and Roleystone became desperate in their attempts to stop the Jets attack. Roleystone players Luke, Jayden and Dylan were putting their bodies on the line but Roleystone was losing in the centre and the Jets were in a good position as the half time siren.

The next half of the game was better from Roleystone as Jayden scored a goal minutes into the quarter which was fantastic and then a terrific goal by Dyan was a great team effort from other players, Curtis and Calan who assisted the effort. The pressure eased up on Roleystone where they were able to make more their presence known gaining more possession of the footie. Good defensive action from Tellie, Alex, and Mitchell working to limit the Jets goals to three in the last quarter. It was not win today for Roleystone but they didn't go down without putting up a good fight to the end.
