" In a Top of the Table Clash Roleystone knew that this week was going to be a challenge for their team"
It was an early start game, under very windy conditions that seemed to throw Roleystone off their game plan. Roleystone was in attack first up in the opening quarter with Luke, Mitchell, and Liam working hard in the forward fifty but it was really the Centrals who were dominating play and dictating the terms for three quarters of the footie game. It was Tom who broke the Roleystone drought when he kicked a sensational goal aided by Will and Jayden The Centrals were a hard running team and Roleystone seemed to do alot of chasing when they really needed to be in front position on their opponents and calling more shots.
It was the final quarter that the Roleystone team showed their best form for the day as they had woken up and started to strategise more across the field and play like the team that we know. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to win this game but certainly has given the Roleystone 13s more experience in windy conditions, more to train and work for early on in the season.
Go the Mighty Tigers!!
