Written by Year 5s

1st Qtr

Fine but windy day.  Coogee hard at the ball during the 1st 15mins resulting in the first goal.  Hard tackling by Roley resulted in a free kick and shot for goal (missed!).  Roley not manning up as much as they should and South Coogee kicking well to the open lead.

2nd Qtr

Roley start the quarter much better running hard at the ball.  However Sth Coogee scored the first goal of the quarter as Roley not kicking to targets.  Against the run of play, Roley score a goal.  Coogee very physical and bumping. Roley putting more pressure on the ball which gives ascendancy for the last 5 mins of the quarter.

3rd Qtr

Roley start well, being first to the ball.  Coogee become very hard at the ball and alot of tackling.  Roley keeps their cool with eyes for the contest and ball only, which keeps the ball in Roleys forward line 90% of this quarter.  Sth Coogee are becoming very frustrated by this time!!

4th Qtr

Sth Coogee start well out of centre and apply pressure in their forward line, but inacurate kicking not rewarded.  Against the play Roley kick another goal.  Both sides lift the tempo with hard tackling and acurate passing.  Roley gains asendancy in the last 3 mins with persistant entry into their forward line.
