On the first game of the season and Shane's 50 Game Day Roleystone 13s experience victory at home against South Coogee.

The first quarter was dominated by the home team by the likes of JJ, Will and Dylan booting through the first goal of the match. There was some great defensive action with Lochie instrumental in a turnover in which JJ kicks a goal just before the siren.

In the second quarter Coogee held Roleystone back from scoring as they applied more pressure. Tom and Mason were working hard in the forward line but it was the defence that were under the pump Alex, Calan and Angus working hard but there was no result for Roleystone's effort.

After a half time rev up Roleystone 13s came out more focused for maintaining possession of the ball, that resulted in JJ kicking a goal minutes into the quarter then another goal followed from Tom. More great play and an exchange, between JJ and Calan results in another goal for the effort. Roleystone were on a roll for the next part of the game, as Calan kicks 2 more goals. Great running further into the last quarter by Liam, JJ and Luke with a final score total being Roleystone 8 goals 8 points to Coogee 1 goal 2points.
