It was a hot, sunny Sunday when Roleystone Tigers took on Jandakot Jets i the 1st game of season 2011.

With Sean in the ruck, Tigers got the 1st tap away - we were running forward. David grabbed a lovely mark, sent it inboard and Ben C took a great high mark and popped it through. 5 mins later a scramble in our goal area saw Jarrod score on off the ground. Sean was jumping well in the ruck and big tall Ryan kicked true after a lovely kick from Jack. Matt got a goal on the run and a great high jumping mark by Monty put another six points on the board.  The Jet managed to force the ball forward ut Gary worked hard and from his effort running the ball out of the back line, Tigers scored again. Lawrence also saw alot of the ball.  Tigers keeping Jets down to 1 point in the 1st quarter.

At the top of the second, Tigers scored the 1st goal and then peppered the goals for the next 10 mins, Jets could not find a way through to the halfway mark. Coach Sam was working the interchange Bench, Michael ran on and kicked a lovely goal. Dean took a turn at ruck and kept the ball moving forward. A great steal by Marcus on the wing saw the ball go to Monty who popped it to Sean running past and he kicked a great goal on an angle.  At half time Tiger were up 100 points.

The goals kept coming in the 3rd with all the boys keeping the momentum going - even though it was hot the Tigers were running hard and talking well. Anger and frustration raised its head at the end of the 3rd.

Roley came out in the 4th and got the 1st goal - a lovely lon kick by Cody. The goals kept coming with Ben C finishing with 8, Jake F 4, Ryan and Matt on 3. Tigers winning by 162 points.
