Round 1 - Roleystone 12s v Lakers 12s

The Match started in clear but windy conditions. 

The boys, kicking into a breeze started slow, conceding 2 quick goals.  Roleystone worked hard and we finished the first quarter down 5 goals to 2.

One quick goal to Lakers was answered by 2 hard working goals by Roleysone.  The boys began to fight hard and do the small things to get back into the game.

Two goals by Roleystone opened the third quarter with staunch defence by the boys.  They all gave an excellent effort in this quarter.

With the coaching staff sticking with the correct rotation policy the boys matched it with tenacity and skill against their able opponents.

All in all it was  great to watchsuch an even game!!

Congratulations to Matthew Collis who celebrated his 50th game.

Achievement Awards went to:  Ben Gillam, Clayton Morfitt and Tom Myall-Brown.
