Match Details:

All set and ready to go for a fantastic game of football with the Roleystone U14s taking on Coogee at home this week.  After a few well deserved week's break for Sunday football,  Roleystone were pumped and match ready for what was to be a great contest for the Tigers to see where they were at, as the last time these two teams met,  Roley won by 10 goals.

The first quarter started with Roleystone straight into attack winning centre with game on,  as the first goal of the game went to Michael after finishing a fantastic series of plays by Roley.  Great team work by Daniel and Ollie with Tom assist with Matt kicking it straight through the middle of the goals for Roley's second of the day. This was to be one of Matt's many goals and goal scoring chances as he endevoured to be the West Coast Mark LeCras who kicked a dozen against Essendon this week.

At the end of quarter 1 it was Roleystone leading by 33 points.

The second quarter was just as exciting for the Roleystone fans as more sensational teamwork was undertaken with Matt, Troy and Connor working down the ground with the ball with Jamie and Lochie instrumental in another goal to Matt who had kicked his third goal for the game so far.  It was clear that Roleystone were working together well, sharing the ball amongst the team with a memorable exchange from Callum to Matt onto Tom was a terrific goal.  Roleystone was really drawing the ball at will,  with a well deserved quarter of football as they stormed to the lead by 91 points for the half time break.

The next term and the Roley defence was straight into the action as Coogee turned on the pressure in what was to be a good quarter of football by Coogee but unfortunately for all their attack and workload the scoreboard didn't show their true efforts.  Excellent defending by David, Troy, Liam and Anthony who were using their bodies well to stop the Coogee forwards from scoring.  Callum was creating space, using the ball well as team work and effort by the Roleystone boys resulted in a well deserved goal to Cameron who performed a set shot on goals.  It was Cameron once again who was important in assisting a goal to Bryce who was back in the team from injury.  A fantastic passage of play by the Tigers resulted in a final goal going to Daniel who put it through on another set shot

Great effort to the Roleystone team who had extended their lead by another 24 points this quarter.

The final quarter and so much to report on as Roleystone achieved more goals and more great play by all the team as an exchange by Bryce, Lochie to Matt was an unselfish play by all as Matt reached his eighth goal for the game and furthered Roleystone's lead.  There was more riveting action in the Roley forward line as Liam kicked a goal for his effort and Lochie put one through also.  What this was proving was that Roleystone was using the ball well throughout the ground and with all the individual goal scorers it was the team effort today that was pushing through to victory.

Multiple goal scorers included Matt who ended up on a tremendous 9 goals for the game, Tom - 2 goals, Connor- 2 goals, Ollie - 2 goals, Lochie - 2 goals, Michael - 2 goals

On the final siren the score was Roleystone def Coogee, 24 goals, 15 points to 1goal, 3points.
