ROLEYSTONE v's SAFETY BAY @ Springdale Park

The Tigers hosted Saety Bay, which only turned up with 14 players, so we gave them 1 player per quarter and the game was on.  In the !st quarter both teams found it hard to pick up the ball with the play very scrappy and not very free flowing.  It was a telling mark by Monty who switched the play via Jordan who got the ball down forward and Kallan kicked out 1st major.  Tigers were peppering the goals - but poor kicking saw alot of behinds posted.  Sean kicked through the ball beautifully to Paul who kicked straight through the goals.  5 ins later Michael scored with a lovely kick.  Finally Roley had found its range and more goals followed, Safety Bay couldnt get the ball into their forward 50 - Tigers 36 points up at the 1st break.

Tigers grabbed the 1st goal in the 2nd quarter, but Safety Bay snuck around us and scored 6 points.  The next ruck knock they moved forward again and got another one.  Tigers needed to wake up and get back to our match ups.  The boys heeded the messages from the bench and lifted and Tigers piled on 6 goals by the 15 min mark of the quarter - At the main break we were 64 points ahead.

IN the 3rd Sean ran forward and grabbed the 1st goal, a lovely sneaky round the corner with a lucky bounce to finish.  Lachlan soared high and took a great grab int he goal line and then finished it off with a goal.  The Tigers were working well with good team play and pressure.  A fantastic mark by Josh sent the ball forward and Paul finished for Josh's effort with a goal.

In the 4th quarter Tony kicked the 1st 2 goals helped by Josh with a lovely one-two along the wing.  Chris played a great game in the back - Marcus was very reliable on the wing.  Tigers running out winners by 174 points
