ROLEYSTONE v's JANDAKOT JETS @ Springdale

The 16/17's capped off a huge football weekend out at Springdale Park for Round 9, with Jandakot Jets invited to the Tigers Liar.  Added incentive for our boys was #16 Marcus Worth celebrating his 100 games milestone.  Well done Marcus.

The Jets were down 4 players so Roleystone had to help out.

Tigers got the 1st score and a great kick by Aaron A on the wing brought up the 1st goal.  Some great hands by Lachland S down back saved a Jets goal - but they scored soon after.  Tiger were peppering the goals, but only scoring behinds - the wind may have been a factor. 

Michael S showed some great effort and clean hands - Tigers grabbing the 1st 6 points in the second quarter.  Jets got one back (thanks to our Roley player on their side!)  Brandon was jumping well in the ruck, Tony S was running well up forward creating some good leads.  Chris AJ kicked a lovely scrubber through the 2 big posts, Kallam M was providing some good second efforts.  Marcus W was getting good touches in the back half - but the ball was in our half of the ground most of the quarter - Tigers posting 8 goals to Jets one.

In the 3rd Tigers came out firing and some great work from the middle resulted in a lovely goal.  Ben K put in some hardwork in the forward area and Tony S came up with some fine crumbing which was rewarded with 6 points.  Tigers found their range in the 3rd kicking 10 goals - with 100 gamer Marcus W kicking a lovely one round the corner and then another on the run 5 mins later.

In the 4th we mixed it up with sharing players around but the game was ours and the boys enjoyed the run.  A nasty injury to a Jets player was the only sour point in a game the Tigers blitzed.

Fantastic team work boys
