ROLEYSTONE v's SECRET HARBOUR @ Springdale

On a magnificent Autumn day the Tigers hosted Secret Harbour and both teams fought hard for possession.  It was Roleystone who scored the 1st goal.  While we were one man down, Secret Harbour slotted a major.  Both teams seemed evenly matched but the weather was also playing a factor - the sun beating down.  Tigers grabbed another foal but we needed to stick our marks.  We were fumbling the ball and we needed to kick to targets and to talk to each other.  At the 1st break we were 15 points up.

The 2nd quarter started the same with Roley not manning up and our kicks too low.  But we were running hard, with Kale B, Jim M, Monty S, David S, Kallum M really trying hard.  Brandon Mc and Josh W were jumping well in the middle.  Our backs were tight with Cody S, Jordan C, Alex N and Chris AJ, but some missed shots on goal kept our score low.  Tigers held Scret Harbour to 1 point but we needed to step up and make the game ours.

In the 3rd Roley came out and grabbed the 1st goal - but there still needed to be more talk.  Secret Harbour never let up the pressure.  A red card on Tony S left us a man down in the forward line, but Secret Harbour wasnt able to push up and take advantage.  We kept them scoreless that quarter.

In the last, Cody S stepped up down back with great support from Alex N and Sean C.  Secret Harbour were flagging and still couldnt take advantage of their loose man.  We over ran them in the 4th.  Aly N showed off his soccer skills in the forward line, after some good work down back.
