Roleystone enjoyed the week off - an enforced rest for tired muscles and sore groins, but Kelmscott also had time to rejuvenate and with them on top of the ladder this game was going to be tough.

Kelmscott grabbed the 1st goal, but some hard work by Cody saw the ball into our forward 50 and Tony scored true.  Kelmscott were tight, running off our players and poor kicking kept their score down, but a goal on the siren saw them take a 14 point lead.

The Tigers has some new boys in our team, but they were trying hard and creating opportunities.  We needed to man up.  Kelmscott increase their lead quickly, but our boys never stopped trying and Peter managed to soccer one through.  Michael popped a lovely goal on the run, but Kelmscott were tall.  A lovely passage of play by Ben with a great kick from Sean L into our forward area saw Marcus score 6 points.  Kelmscott were relentless though and kept answering our moves.

At the start of the 3rd they grabbed the 1st goal, but by hard work we kicked 2 lovely 6 pointers.  Kelmscott were relentless - everytime we pegged them back they answered with a goal.  Tigers were still running and working hard but we needed to stick with our man.  Sean L was using his height well, Ben was jumping well in the ruck, Cody was solid in the back half with support from Brandon.  3 near misses at the sart of the start of the third cost our scoreline while Kelmscott were dead eyed dicks all day.

Thanks goes to the boys who helped us out from the 14's - we put up a brave fight only losing by 43 points.
