Game Two of the season was a cloudy overcast day at the home of the Mighty Tigers. With Connor as the Captain the Tigers were all ready to take on Armadale knowing that they had to play hard and keep their heads over the ball. The first quarter was dominated by Armadale with the Roleystone defence getting a workout. It was hard going with plenty of knocks, bumps and tackling by both teams fighting to maintain control of the ball Great determination by Jeremy, Jamie tackling hard in defence with Simon going in strong. David was also working hard in the backline with Liam, Anthony and Josh H, the midfielders Callum, Michael and Bryce trying to get the ball down Roleystone's end. It was a hard fought quarter by Roleystone who needed to turn up the pressure and shut down some of Armadale's key players.

The Third quarter started with two goals by Armadale. Then the match changed and Roleystone started to dazzle the crowd with their talent. Excellent play by Bryce, Josh R, David to Tom for a goal. Then more exchanges by the Roleystone with great teamwork, Adam, Daniel , Mathew, Josh R, Simon and Bryce fought hard and got the ball down their end to Tom who scored a beauty. Roleystone wins the tap and the clearance with the forwards taking control of the ball with Brodie setting it up for Callum to score another goal for Roleystone. Roleystone were on Fire. It was awesome! The Roleystone spirits were lifted and Josh R scores a goal. Going into the fourth quarter Roleystone still had their work cut out for them.

The Fourth quarter was just as exciting with plenty of action down Roleystone's end but no score prevailed. The highlights were the team work by Roleystone with Bryce clearing the centre to Brodie and Callum only to be stolen by Armadale and then taken on by Mathew who exerted the pressure and with the crowd behind him dominated the field. The ball went down Roleystone's end with plenty of exchanges Adam, Daniel, Jeremy worked hard with David just missing and scoring a behind. More goals by Armadale followed as Roleystone's defence was tested, Jamie, Troy, Clay, Josh H never gave up in a game of cat and mouse. Great effort to all the Roleystone players you tried hard, did your best but the well drilled Armadale team were just too good on the day.
