The cool morning brought a slow start to the match as the boys came up against a skilled Kardinya team. The 1st quarter was a little scrappy as there was alot of congestion around the ball.

The 2nd quarter was very even as Kardinya made our defence work extra hard pushing forward with great pressure we had to be very switched on. We definately had to lift our attack on the ball and put more pressure on their players if we were to get the ball forward.

The half time talk by the coach was what the boys needed to get them to lift as they ran out into the 3rd quarter looking alot more determined and got the ball forward early to score. We started to create space wide relieving the congestion around the ball and this helped us to get the ball forward alot quicker giving us more opportunity to outscore Kardinya, we had finally started to play footy the way we finished last week.

The coach finally started to smile abit more as the players were playing the game we were accustomed to getting first to the ball and working hard as a team. Another great effort by the 10's with their team work improving with every week.
