Roleystone Tigers descended down the hill to take on Fremantle Hawks. The contest was fierce but the Hawks owned the front spot and our bos had to do alot of chasing. Sean worked hark on centre half back, stopping some Fremantle forward thrusts. Some fabulous team work from back brought the ball forward and Monty and Tony combined saw Tomy possing through a lovely goal. Roleystone hung on to win the quarter but there were too many dropped marks and we needed to get in front.
The Tigers bolted from the blocks in the second, grabbing the 1st goal after a lovely one-two between Tony and Jacob. Sean moved to the middle with great results, Roley kicking 2 more goals. A bit of a biffo resulted in a Tigers free kick and another goal, this time from Josh B sent it through the middle of the big sticks. Roley started to win the clearances from the centre and we piled on 4 goals to their 1. The Tigers 42 points up at half time.
Roleystone put Brandon back in the ruck and the goals kept coming, Monty kicked another 3, Tony grabbed 1, Calan and Josh W worked hard along the wings, Josh B was unselfish with the ball after a lovely mark in the forward pocket, he popped it to Tony who finished off with 6 points.
The great team work continued with the Tigers passing the ball around. Our boys all played well and continued to work hark till the end of the game.
