1st Quarter: A perfect day for football, though short lived. The first bounce saw Brodie injured and he remained off for the rest of the game. The Tigers applied great pressure on Centrals with Jarrod scoring a quick first goal. The players were going hard at the ball, with great tackles by Braydn and shepherding from Ryan. Another goal by Laurie saw us two goals up. Centrals scored a major despite a solid defence. We finished off the quarter with another goal from Curtis, thanks to some great teamwork from Sam and Josh H.

2nd Quarter:
The Tigers struggled this quarter in getting the ball past the middle. There were some great tackles by Scott and Ben H, with Luke giving his all in defence. Centrals were able to run over us and Roleystone were scoreless this term.

3rd Quarter:
After a half time pep talk from Coach, Roleystone lifted their game and were able to get the ball to our forward line. Nick Z showed his great form, with a goal and some solid tackling. There was some impressive running and ball handling. Roleystone went into the final term with a renewed determination.

4th Quarter:
We were on the ball quick and played a more physical game. We knew we could claw our way back by honest hard football. There were more tackles, bumps and grabs. Josh H delivered the tackles, Storme the shepherding and Chris Mc the great marks. Josh L scored our first goal, with support from Curtis and Liam. Chris H was on fire with some terrific running through the middle and a goal, courtesy of as 50 m penalty. A better quarter of football, with the second quarter contributing to Roleystone’s down fall. The Tigers made us proud by fighting back and know that consistency in all four quarters is the key to winning games.
