The time beat the tigers in the end and South Coogee grabbed a hard fought win.

Round 8 and the Tigers were back at Springdale up against South Coogee Black. Captain Monty won the toss and Brandon got us into attack but both teams were playing hard.  Tigers peppered the goals but it was South Coogee who got the first six points, a hard fought goal soccered through.  The Tigers finally got it back, some hard work by Peter kept it in our forward 50 and Monty was able to finish off and grab a goal.  Both teams were playing tough and the game was evenly matched at quarter time.

South Coogee Black came out fast in the second but it was a great run down the wing by Monty that resulted in Tony kicking a much needed goal.  Josh W took some telling marks up forward and Ryan H grabbed a quick goal to keep our score ticking over.  Alex was solid in the backline, well supported by Marcus, Calan, Peter and Beau. Tigers going to the break 21 points up.

In the 3rd Josh B worked hard and set up a goal, Liam ran well, Tom was a workhorse.  South Coogee Black stepped up the pace and emotions ran high as both teams played tough football.

South Coogee Black grabbed the 1st 6 points in the 4th and the second, leaving the Tigers flat footed.  South Coogee got within 3 points but Josh W kicked true and we breathed again, but South Coogee Black ran and worked hard and snuck in front again and then kicked another and got 5 points up.  The time beating the Tigers in the end and South Coogee Black grabbed a hard fought win.
