An exciting and unusual start to the game, with Matty Ostler chasing down a kick into the forward line from Lochie, and  taking out the goalpost in the process! Adam took two great marks in defense and  followed up with good kicks, directly to team-mates. Lochie was getting plenty of the ball on the wing, Jeremy and Bryce were doing really well in the centre of the ground. Forrestdale had quite a few shots on goal resulting in behinds, before they scored three goals in quick succession.

Big Matty Ostler’s 50th today, all hail the Big Unit!!

Kelmscott had three quick pings at goal within minutes of the game starting, but only managed one goal for their efforts. Shortly afterwards Davo put through a major for the Tigers, quickly followed by our 50-gamer as Matt belted through his first for the day. Kelmscott kept pressing forward and Josh copped a clout in the head, but then Tom, Cameron M. and Lochie combined nicely to keep the ball progressing towards goal. Matt T. banged through a great goal as a result. Tom, Bryce, Daniel and Ashleigh were all doing well in the centre, and Cameron M. snuck in a long range goal just before the siren.

A tight first quarter, played in cool & overcast conditions. Jandakot used the ball slightly better than the Tigers, and scored the first goal. Cameron Meldrum just missed a snap on goal, and the close score reflected the evenness of the two teams.
