On a fine brisk morning both teams looked determined as they lined up.
As a result of excellent teamwork Brayden was able to score a quick morale boosting goal in the first five minutes of the game. Despite an opposition goal Roleystone continued to attack with determination and skill. As a result of the Coach's pep talk the Tigers continued their attack.
In spite of pressure from the opposition Roleystone put in a formidable defence. After one of the team members had a particularly hard knock on the head Jason, the Coach was heard to remark “I know you're a smart player, but when I said to use your head, I didn't mean it literally!”.
In the third quarter the opposition found momentum and began to attack with determination, putting Roleystone's defence under pressure. The opposition attack continued throughout the quarter.
Roleystone rallied strongly in the fourth quarter with three snapped goals in the first five minutes by Joshua Nairn, James and Trent. Trent went on to contribute a fourth goal. The fight continued through the quarter with pressure exerted from the forward line.
Overall a strong performance from a continually improving team!
