On a wet and windy day play was scrambly.
1ST QUARTER: Jackson Hanna and Jack Newman piled on quick successive goals. Roleystone were scoring goals consistently. Braydon was tenacious across the centre and half backline and constantly frustrated Jandakot's attacks. He was well supported in the backline by Jesse Barrass who took a strong mark in the backline.
2ND QUARTER: Roleystone were kicking into a strong breeze. Jandakot attacked consistently until a good defensive mark from Eric Mitchell and a good pass to Joshua Nairn saw Roleystone mount a counter attack. Travis Newland was playing well on the forward line but could not convert and eventually Jandakot scored the first goal of the quarter. Kieran Scott was proving a handful in the forward line but Roleystone could not find the big sticks. Liam van der Laan finally scored a goal for Roleystone. Jandakot kept attacking but Trent McDonnell took a series of good marks to thwart their thrusts.
3RD QUARTER: James Myall-Brown was working hard around the packs and kicked Roleystone's first goal from a free kick. Roleystone were applying good pressure around the packs and Jandakot were having trouble clearing the ball from defence. Roleystone started to score goals quickly and Callum Hutton kicked a lovely goal out on the run. Roleystone dominated and kicked 9 goals 6 points for the quarter.
4TH QUARTER: Mark Fraser started the quarter brilliantly with a goal from a long way out. The game became bogged down in packs as Jandakot lifted and placed more pressure on Roleystone. But Roleystone kept up the pressure and Trent McDonnell scored a good goal. Liam van der Laan marked solidly and was reading the play well, stopping Jandakot attacks. When the final siren went Roleystone were convincing winners thanks to a good team effort.
ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS: James Myall-Brown, for hard work around the packs. Travis Newland, for aggression at the ball and good teamwork.
